I can’t recommend Howes’s enough. Great family run business! I wish everyone had their work ethic. I hired them remotely to do work at our family’s cabin in Tahlequah. They were very responsive and communicated well. They even fixed my mothers mailbox that a gravel truck ran over hauling gravel to the job site. I would use them again in a heartbeat! Very few contractors are excellent in every respect. This one is. We contacted Howe’s for a check on our foundation this summer. They promptly responded and Cassidi who coordinates scheduling set up an appointment. We received timely appointment reminders along with a message the day of confirming the time. They arrived on time and three gentlemen came and did a thorough check under the 60-year old house, and checked inside for signs of settling. They (the father and two sons) advised that the house was generally in very good shape. They did recommend some additional supports (concrete and steel piers) be added to address settling around the perimeter of the older parts of the foundation and to support the center beam. We received a written recommendation with pricing within 48-hours, and scheduled for work to be done in the fall. Cassidi again was very thorough in communications as the date for work approached. We had obligations that meant we were not at home while the work was done but having met the Howe team we were confident in leaving the house open so they could access underneath and inside as well. Of course everything was left in great shape. The work was completed faster than expected as we were told that it just “went smoother”. The final invoice was adjusted to meaningfully reduce the final amount due from the original bid. Would we use them again? Absolutely yes. We wish every company and contractor were this honest and thorough, and the level of communication and clarity they provided puts most others to shame.
Mark and his team did a great job on our home, we needed 6 piers to remedy settling on the corner of our home. They were the only company to show up and give us an estimate out of the 4 companies we contacted, and I’m glad for it. They even put our flower bed back into original shape after they were done and you cannot tell any work was done. Highly recommend using this company.
I don’t write reviews very often, but I really feel that Howe’s Foundation deserves sharing my experience (s) with anyone looking for foundation work. This a great family owned company and exudes the utmost in professionalism and service. They were always on time, ensured I knew clearly what was needed to be done and what to expect. They worked super hard to finish the job promptly, cleaned up everyday and did a fantastic job putting everything back together when they finished. I had so many neighbors stopping by asking me who they were because they noticed the same. They offer a great warranty on their work and I feel very fair pricing. I trusted these folks enough to have additional work performed at a later date and had the exact same experience.
